Since the inception of her first line in 1997, Melissa Joy Manning has created a collection of unusual, modern designs that transcend stylistic trends and attract a loyal following. “I believe in the permanence of the piece, and one of my greatest inspirations is in knowing that people will treasure their jewelry, hopefully for generations.” says the designer. Each Melissa Joy Manning piece is hand forged and made to order by her production staff of artists. Using 14 or 18 karat yellow, pink and green gold, sterling silver, semi-precious and precious stones, hand-selected bones and found objects, each design evokes a different emotion. The materials, found worldwide, are from only domestic suppliers.
