Harkham
Harkham was introduced in Fall 2004 and is designed with a feminine, vintage edge. Fragile laces, whisper weight silks, humble cotton voiles and oddly beautiful prints add a serene sense of nowness to the collection. The designer, Darena Yee, gets her inspiration from fleeting images... a falling leaf, a tattered scrap of silk, a vintage broken button. Because her design background includes working in New York and in Los Angeles, the collections have an edgier, urban take on feminine styling.
